Dr Fatma Ghoneim

Fatma has a longstanding interest in ensuring the voice of trainees is heard both locally and at a regional/national level. Ensuring trainee well-being is at the heart of her work, particularly during the challenging post-pandemic period full of increased demands both clinically and outside the workplace. She is a Psychiatry CT3 who particularly enjoys making an impact in the life of not only her patients, but also their families, and plans to work in research alongside clinical work. Fatma believes issues that trainees currently face include the impact of industrial actions on training, opportunities to rotate in a variety of subspecialties, and involvement in research.
