Dr Matt Tovey
Elected member of Council
Dr Matt Tovey is a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and Medical Lead for Prison Psychiatry at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
He has been involved with the RCPsych for a number of years, having previously been a member of, and subsequently chaired, the Psychiatric Trainees’ Committee prior to the completion of his training in 2016.
Dr Tovey is keen that new consultants are empowered to become involved with the College early in their careers and he has a particular interest in supporting trainees to realise their potential.
