Dr Pierre Taub
Elected Fellow
Dr Pierre Taub is the RCPsych’s Specialist Adviser for Mentoring and a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist at East London NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Taub graduated from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1990 and initially trained as a GP. After completing GP training, he transferred to the St Mary’s Training Scheme in Psychiatry in London and obtained MRCPsych in 1997.
He took up his first substantive consultant post in 2002 and has worked in City and Hackney all his consultant life.
Outside of clinical work, Dr Taub’s main interest is in the development and training of doctors.
He is a Training Programme Director for psychiatry higher trainees and the Trust Medical Appraisal Lead.
