Dr Leah Quinlivan

Research Fellow and Chartered Psychologist

Dr Leah Quinlivan is a Research Fellow and Chartered Psychologist at the University of Manchester.  Leah leads self-harm research on NCISH affiliated, National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded grants (e.g., the NIHR GM Patient Safety Research Collaboration). Leah’s core research areas include risk assessment, psychosocial assessments, and psychological therapies. She also leads the patient/public involvement and engagement in self-harm and suicide prevention work at the Centre for Mental Health and Safety. Leah also served as an Expert Content Advisor for NHS funded national programmes to improve community services for self-harm and the CQUIN for psychosocial assessment.
