Liah El-Fadel

Liah is one of the new Quality Improvement Coach’s for the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health and will be working directly on the Culture of Care programme.  

Liah previously worked with another department in the College, the Centre for Quality Improvement, as a Project Officer for the Quality Network for Inpatient CAMHS. In this role, she led peer reviews and accreditation reviews to support inpatient CAMHS services across the UK and Ireland to develop, improve, and review their standards of care and best practice. She also worked as a Clinical Support Worker and an Assistant Psychologist on two inpatient CAMHS units in London, where she supported young people in crisis to develop skills in and autonomy over their recovery. 

Liah has a strong passion to ignite a shift from hierarchical structures in healthcare settings to interdisciplinary and more collaborative working.
