
Rianna Herbert
QI Coach
Rianna is one of the new Quality Improvement Coach’s for the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health and will be working directly on the Culture of Care Programme.
Rianna previously worked for the College Centre for Quality Improvement (CCQI), which is another department in the college. She worked as a Project Officer for the Quality Network for Forensic Mental Health Services, Quality Network for Prison Mental Health Services and Quality Network for Psychiatric Intensive Care Units. In this she supported peer reviews and accreditation reviews across the United Kingdom to develop, improve and reviews their standard of care and best practice.
She previously worked as a mental health support officer in a community mental health team where she supported residents with recovery and to develop skills, and as a volunteer supporting ex-offenders with a personality disorder diagnosis to reintegrate back into the community.
Rianna has a strong passion to change inequalities in mental health specifically within the black community and is the Co-chair of the African Caribbean forum within the college.
