The Royal College of Psychiatrists is pleased to be launching a new initiative to welcome Core Trainees to the College.

The medical profession faces serious difficulties when it comes to encouraging young doctors to choose Psychiatry as a profession.  With your help, we'd like to change this.

We want to be able to invite Core Trainees to the College to see what Psychiatry has to offer, welcome them with hospitality and provide them with as much as we can to demonstrate what's on offer if they choose a future in Psychiatry. Our welcome days would be held in different locations, including here at the College, with a view to expanding the programme with regular events at different points in the year across the UK.

To offer a warm and significant welcome and to show our core trainees that they really matter to us and that we will support them throughout their training and beyond, we need to raise £20,000 each year.

Please help us with this new initiative by donating now.
