Rachel Kent

Dr Rachel Kent is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist working within the National and Specialist CAMHS Service for Complex Autism and Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorders (SCAAND), SLaM NHS trust.

Clinically, Dr Kent supports young people and their families to understand their neurodiversity as well as providing evidence based interventions for co-occurring mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression and behaviours that challenge.

Dr Kent has previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at King’s College London exploring functional and mental health outcomes in young adulthood as part of a longitudinal population based study of Autism. Prior to this she completed her PhD at the Wales Autism Research Centre, Cardiff University in partnership with the National Autistic Society.
