PIPSIG drop-ins - 'the best bits' - online conference

Event Information

The PIPSIG are crystallising over two years of their experience of running the ever-popular monthly drop-ins into a one-day remote conference.

Bringing together the most frequently discussed topics, concerns, ideas and tips from the drop-ins to date, this will provide delegates with a richer and deeper understanding of the shared challenges and opportunities we all face in independent practice.

9.30am – Should I stay or should I go? – Rachel Gibbons and Ed Burns

10.15am – How to manage yourself well: work life balance, boundaries, competencies – Simmi Sachdeva-Mohan and Shirin Pezeshgi 

11.00am – Break

11.15am – CQC your questions answered – Mona Freeman and Rachel Gibbons

12.00pm – Medico-legal work: opportunities and pitfalls – Jonathan Hellewell and Rick Driscoll

12.45pm – Lunch

2.00pm – Appraisal, revalidation and peer groups – Rick Driscoll and Iain Grant

2.45pm – Closing plenary – All speakers

3.30pm – Conference ends
