Event Information

Please come and join your community on 19 November 2024 for our in-person conference on the theme: Clinicians in the Digital Space.

The conference will be held at the RCPsych HQ (21 Prescot Street, E1 8BB) from 9.30am-4.30pm.

Join us as we host sessions exploring social media, digital therapeutics and clinical entrepreneurship in the digital space.

View the full programme and speaker biographies below.

We will also be running our annual DPSIG Pecha Kucha prize this year. Read more about this below.

This year we will once again run our annual Pecha Kucha sessions:

Pecha Kucha is a presentation style where the presenter shows 20 slides for 20 seconds each.

Grab this opportunity to present your original ideas on how the practice of Psychiatry can adopt newer technologies. You have until COP 21 October 2024 to send us your submission.

We are looking for proposals that could be a novel way of using technology to aid diagnosis, or deliver treatment, or anything in between! Any submissions with a QI or research idea or project are also welcome, but we encourage proposals with broad ideas on using digital technologies within the practice of psychiatry. Special merit will be given for creative ideas and formats, unlike typical academic conferences.

Participants with the best proposals will be invited to present their idea in a Pecha Kucha style at the event on the 19 November. What’s more there are prizes to be won!

Please submit your proposals or contact for any queries: chair.digitalsig@rcpsych.ac.uk

This event is in-person only and unfortunately it won't be recorded, nor will it be possible to view it online.

The event will take place at the College in London where there are lifts and accessible WCs.

Catering will consist of tea, coffee and water during the breaks, and a sandwich lunch.

If you have any accessibility or dietary requirements (including allergies), please inform us at sigs@rcpsych.ac.uk as soon as possible.
