Event Information
Overview
Join us for this webinar on Physical Health with a talk from Dr Ed Beveridge, followed by a panel discussion.
Main talk:
“The SMI mortality gap: will it ever close?”
This will cover the drivers of poor physical health in people living with mental illness, the opportunities we have to improve outcomes and the approach the College is taking to tackle the issue.
Panel Discussion:
The panel will discuss the challenges frontline clinicians face in supporting people with mental illness to manage their physical health and the challenges people living with or caring for someone with mental illness in maintaining good physical health – and share our ideas about how we can make positive changes in our own practice.
We hope the whole session will be interactive and will be happy to invite questions and contributions from participants.
