QNIC webinars (COVID-19)

Our Child and Adolescent Inpatient Services (QNIC) team is creating a series of webinars for CCQI during the COVID-19 pandemic.

QNIC Webinar #3 – 13 August 2020

A presentation by Luke Webb (Transitions Nurse), Natasha Moors (Acting Ward Manager) and Carly-Anne Taylor (Staff Nurse) from QNIC member service Pebble Lodge, Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust.

Discussions move away from COVID-19 related issues to share information on the recent operational changes and new approaches that have been taking place at Pebble Lodge.

Amongst other updates they also discuss the team’s recent appointment of a general nurse, the ward's new parents evening, and some of the benefits that have arisen from adapting to a new way of working in unprecedented circumstances.

QNIC Webinar #2 - 23 July 2020

QNIC COVID-19 open discussion forum - Psychological professionals working on inpatient adolescent mental health wards

Our first open discussion forum group for psychological professionals working on inpatient adolescent mental health wards to discuss the latest guidance available and overcoming issues arising during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of the sessions was for individuals to engage in conversations about particular issues and to learn and share good practice.
