QN-CRHTT standards

The QN-CRHTT standards provide a clear and comprehensive description of best practice in Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Teams.

Our standards are based on the available literature and extensive consultation with staff, patients and carers with experience in crisis resolution and home treatment.

The QN-CRHTT standards are reviewed at least every two years. The fifth edition of standards were published in June 2022.

The standards cover the following areas;

• Service provision and structure
• Staffing and training
• Assessment, care planning and treatment
• Patient and carer experience
