Many of us are already taking care to live more sustainably and be more mindful of our carbon footprint. The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare have some great resources on 'carbon-addiction',
that might get you, and your friends and family to think slightly differently about your lifestyle.
Other ways you can bring a little green to your local community include finding out more about walking groups, green gyms, other nature-based forms of healthcare, and joining a network to share information and coordinate action outside of work, such as Psych Susnet and Psych Declares.
To develop your understanding further of the role of prevention and public mental health in sustainability, MindEd have created a free eLearning course which provides a great introduction to this topic. Simply access the MindEd Hub and select the 'Public Mental Health' course.
