Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology (JSPN) Fellowship Award

The JSPN is now accepting applications for their Fellowship Award, which is presented to early-career psychiatrists from around the world.

The purpose of this award is to recognize early-career, outstanding psychiatrists and to encourage academic discussion and personal friendships with early-career Japanese psychiatrists at the 121st Japan Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology (JSPN) from June 19th to 21st, 2025 in Kobe, Japan.

As the UK Member of the World Psychiatric Association, the RCPsych can nominate two UK members for this Fellowship. To be considered,

  • applicants must be a psychiatrist younger than 40 or with 10 years or less experience in psychiatry,
  • not be a previous recipient of the JSPN Fellowship Award
  • be a member of the RCPsych, based in the UK.

Applicants are reminded that the JSPN prize covers part, but not all, of the costs associated with attendance at the JSPN annual meeting.

Those wishing to be considered for nomination by the RCPsych should submit their abstract and personal information form (see JSPN website for details) to Agnes Raboczki by 5pm (BST) on Friday, 13 September 2024.

The RCPsych International Advisory Committee will select the two RCPsych nominees for this Fellowship and will provide a signed nomination form to the successful applicants.
