We want to help psychiatrists working in NHS Trusts to recruit the right people quickly and easily so have created a job description template, including a person specification.
As of 01 July 2020 we introduced a review checklist. This checklist includes a list of everything that needs to be included in the job description. It is to be completed by the author of the job description and submitted to the College at the same time as the job description. Using this new checklist has resulted in a better quality of job descriptions and a quicker turnaround time for approval.
Process for reviewing job descriptions
- Job descriptions and checklists should be submitted to LeedsJDReview@rcpsych.ac.uk
- We review and reply with comments within 15 working days where possible. (We will notify you of any delays during busier periods)
Please note, if you use the above templates, the chances are higher that we will complete the review within 15 days.
