How do I register for the Congress in Wales? (registration for the recording package will only be available post event)

The easiest way to register for the 2025 in person Congress is online by credit/debit card. You will need to login using your College membership details. If you are not a member of the College you will need to first register an account.

If you are paying on behalf of someone else the best way to make payment is via BACS. Please complete our registration form and arrange payment via bank transfer, ensuring you include IC25 and the delegate surname in the reference. We cannot reserve places until payment is made.

Please also note, that all prices are in pound sterling. If you are making an international payment, please ensure that you cover the exchange rate. You will also be required to cover any international banking charge.

How much does it cost?

Fees for Congress vary depending on several factors. The earlier you book, the more money you will save. The early bird fee is our lowest fee available and is valid on all bookings made by Monday 31 March 2025, any payment received after this date will be charged the standard fee.

The fee you pay also depends on your current career status, providing you are a member of the College. 

If the rate that appears for you when making your booking does not match your current position, please first check that your position and place of work are up to date on your membership profile. If this is incorrect you can amend this yourself, once complete you will then need to log out and back in again for the changes to take effect. 

If your position and place of work is correct on your membership profile but the incorrect fee is still appearing, please contact us congress@rcpsych.ac.uk

If you are a UK based medical student or foundation year doctor, you may be able to join the College as an associate member. Please view our website for more details. To join the College as a student associate or foundation doctor associate is completely free and will entitle you to the lowest rates for the Congress. Once you have registered and signed up, please make sure you log out and back in again of your account for the changes to take effect.

If you are not based in the UK and not yet a member of the College, you may benefit from becoming an International Member. International members have access to a multitude of resources to continue their professional development, and members from band C and D countries are entitled to a reduced booking fee for our Congress.

If you are not a member of the College you will always be required to pay the non-member fee. Reduced fees for Congress are a benefit of membership.

I am speaking in one of the sessions, am I entitled to a discount?

If you are speaking in one of the sessions at Congress you may be entitled to a discount on your whole Congress booking. You will receive complimentary registration for all days you are presenting. If you would like to attend any of the other days of Congress you will need to register and pay. In some instances booking a whole Congress ticket may be cheaper than booking the remaining days, so please contact us (congress@rcpsych.ac.uk) to discuss options. 

Are there any additional costs?

Once we have released our social event programme you will be able to book a place at either our ever popular Congress Party, or if you’re a student or resident doctor our student and resident doctor social. Neither of these events are included in the Congress ticket price. 

If you are unable to attend the Congress in person, or have only purchased a day ticket there will also be additional charges for the recordings. You can find out more information below.
