Today (Wed Mar 21) we’ve published our first statement on racism and mental health.
Coinciding with United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, it reaffirms our view that we need to understand and tackle any form of racism, conscious or not, within mental health services.
This is a key issue that our president Professor Wendy Burn has raised during her presidency, and a personal priority for her to take action on.
