Statement / comment
27 March 2018

Today (Wed Mar 28) the RCPsych publishes a statement on Transgender people and mental health.

Coinciding with the International Transgender Day of Visibility on Saturday (31 March), it makes a number of recommendations on how to support the wellbeing of transgender and gender diverse people who need to access mental health services.

It also makes clear that there is no place for transgender and gender diversity to be classed as a mental health disorder in itself.
