We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our colleague Professor Tony Roth, who died after a short illness on 16 November 2023.
Tony has worked with the National Collaborating Centre for Mental Health (NCCMH) for several years, leading all of their work in developing competence frameworks, including for Physician Associates, Peer Support Workers and Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention.
Tony made a huge contribution to mental health, in particular in the development of evidence-based provision of Psychological Therapies and will be much missed by all of his colleagues and friends at the College and NCCMH.
