Student Selected Component - Heads Above The Rest©

Victoria Mary Ellison & Conal Corr, two 2nd year medical students from the Queen’s University of Belfast, discuss their experience of an innovative psychiatry Student Selected Component, Heads Above The Rest©

During this module they learned about mental health and intellectual disability. They met with pupils from a special school and worked over 12 weeks to design and develop a positive mental health workshop, including an interactive powerpoint presentation, a drama & small group work.
