Survey reveals study leave issue
The Psychiatric Trainees’ Committee (PTC) has published the results of their national psychiatric trainee survey looking at the experience of trainees in accessing study leave and funding across the UK.
They found that a significant proportion of trainees were not fully aware of important national and regional study leave guidance, and have been working on initiatives to improve this knowledge.
This has included the publication of letters, written in collaboration with the Heads of School (HoS) of Psychiatry, to raise awareness of study leave and study budget guidance across the four nations.
