Specialist Registration Ceremony
In November 2023 the College held only our second ever in-person Specialist Registration Ceremony at Prescot Street, inviting all doctors who achieved Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) in the past 18 months.
We welcomed 45 members on the day of the ceremony, four of which were CESR applicants, who especially welcomed the event as they were not MRCPsych graduates, and therefore had not had the opportunity to attend the Members Ceremony.
Members were greeted by College Officers, including our President; Dr Lade Smith CBE, Registrar Dr Trudi Seneviratne OBE, Associate Dean for CESR Dr Neeraj Berry and our interim CEO, Sonia Walter.
The Specialist Registration Ceremony will continue annually, with the next event being hosted in Prescot Street on 27 November 2024.
