Catch up with our learning podcasts on CPD eLearning

CPD eLearning is the online resource for mental health professionals, offering around 200 learning modules and 170+ podcasts.

Our resources cover a wide range of topics and our podcasts have seen a remarkable increase in engagement in recent years, proving very popular.

Recently published podcasts include:

  • Depersonalisation-derealisation disorder (DDD), with Dr Howard Ryland, Deputy Editor of CPD eLearning, discussing the disorder with Dr Elaine Hunter and Professor Anthony David as well as Krishna, who shares her experiences of having been diagnosed with DDD
  • Social prescribing, with CPD eLearning’s Podcast Editor Dr Nadia Imran talking to RCPsych’s lead on social prescribing, Dr Katherine Kennet
  • Autism and mental health, with RCPsych’s Autism Champion Dr Conor Davidson exploring the relationship between autism and mental health conditions in conversation with Dr James Cusack, Chief Executive of the UK’s leading autism research and campaigning charity and autistic himself, and Dr Dheeraj Rai, Associate Professor and a consultant psychiatrist at Bristol’s adult autism services.

Each podcast on CPD eLearning has a recommended completion time and CPD credits attached and offers a podcast module test, the successful completion of which leads to generation of a personalised CPD certificate.

Most of our podcasts are available as part of the CPD eLearning subscription, though we also offer a selection for free access on the eLearning Hub, and all of our podcasts are also available on SoundCloud.

This means you can easily access the audio files on the go, then sign into CPD eLearning and complete the associated test when convenient to generate your CPD certificate.

We would also like to highlight an upcoming freely available podcast, funded by Health Education England (now NHS England) as part of our work to address health inequalities.

Due for release in November, Equality versus equity will see Dr Nadia Imran in discussion with RCPsych Equality Champion Dr Amrit Sachar and Professor Sir Michael Marmot, Professor of Epidemiology at University College London and Director of UCL Institute of Health Equity.
