Dr Imrana Puttaroo

Imrana joined the PTC as she believes the future generation of psychiatrists deserve a high-quality training experience to reach their potential. She enjoys working directly with trainees to instigate positive change and is interested in perinatal psychiatry, women's health, neurodiversity, psychopharmacology and psychotic disorders. Imrana is due to CCT in general adult psychiatry with an endorsement in liaison psychiatry. She believes there is need to work on retaining and nurturing the current trainee workforce and enhance overall well-being within the psychiatry profession; this will ultimately lead to better outcomes for patient care.
Outside of her professional commitments, Imrana is proud Leo ENFJ who enjoys puzzling, baking, reading and consuming unhealthy amounts of quiz shows, memes and pop/bollywood music!
