Member demographics

In 2021, we reviewed the categories we use to collect demographic data for members, speakers, exam candidates and staff.

The new categories being introduced in 2022 are based on the protected characteristics set out in the Equality Act 2010 and the Office of National Statistics (ONS) guidelines for sex and gender identity.

This will enable the College to better understand the breakdown and needs of those it works with and supports, and help it to identify areas of inequality and any appropriate actions to remedy these.

We are therefore asking everyone to update their form on the My Demographics page:

Please note that completion of all parts of the form is voluntary and each question has a ‘prefer not to say’ option.
