Sonia Walter

Sonia joined the College in 2000 as an assistant conference manager after a career producing successful events in the fields of industrial chemistry and offshore engineering.

Sonia has over 20 years’ experience in medical education, conferences and training and headed the College’s events department until 2019.

In her current role Sonia is responsible for ensuring excellent training and education for psychiatrists, promoting recruitment and retention into the psychiatric workforce and supporting psychiatrists to achieve their professional potential.
