Patients’ views of involuntary hospital admission

Professor Stefan Priebe, Chair for Social and Community Psychiatry at Barts and the London School of Medicine has been the principal investigator of a number of large national and international studies, and authored more than 350 peer-reviewed scientific publications. He has also been an advisor to the UK government, and various regional organizations, on service development in psychiatry. Together with some co-authors he has published a paper in the March issue of the British Journal of Psychiatry on Patients’ views of involuntary hospital admission. Here he discusses this topic with Dr Saliha Nazir.
