Organisational competencies

The College has introduced three College organisational competencies.

The organisational competencies of fairness, allyship and co-production underpin our deep commitment to being a champion of equality, diversity and inclusion.

The wording of our organisational competencies – which were envisaged in the 2021 RCPsych Equality Action Plan – is:

Fairness

We ensure our processes are fair so that all people, regardless of background or characteristics, have equality of opportunity and treatment.

Allyship

We recognise our responsibility to support those from marginalised groups and call out discrimination and bias when we see it.

Co-production

We believe that patients and carers should be respected, valued and empowered to co-produce College workstreams and programmes.
